We are pleased to be associated with a group of brokers that work closely and cooperatively with each other. These brokers are located in boating centers like Annapolis, Maryland, and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and many of the major metropolitan areas along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts.
There are advantages to this network for both buyers and sellers. No one broker can know and be aware of the “local” market conditions everywhere. This resource is in valuable as the brokerage business expands from a more regional business into the global economy. Our brokers know each other, are familiar with each other’s boats for sale and can often put a deal together quickly.
We advertise primarily on the Internet sites where serious buyers come to look for their next boat. Sites like iboats.com, for example. These sites allow generous vessel descriptions and equipment lists AND lots of large high quality photos. We work hard and creatively to write the very best ad copy. A good ad will cause the boat for sale to jump right of the computer screen and into the prospect’s living room.
We work with all buyers and sellers, but mostly with cruisers interested in both power and sail boats. Wooden boats are certainly becoming more scarce. There are, however, still a large number of them still on the water. We have wood boat expertise and history with other brokers that specialize in them
