1970 Irwin Aft Cockpit Sloop 32′
The Irwin 32 is a very successful traditional and timeless boat. Designed as a basic family cruiser, it has fulfilled that role admirably. This center board model is perfectly suited for cruising the Bay or other coastal estuaries. Two sleep forward in 6’ 6” vee berths. The main salon with 6’ 2” headroom will sleep three additional on twin settees and quarter berth. There is a private enclosed head with lavatory, a full galley with stainless steel sink, two burner alcohol stove and ice box. Power is a Universal Atomic Four gas engine (inoperable). The cockpit is good sized with tiller steering. Sail inventory consists of main and 130% jib on a Harken furler. Electronics include knotmeter, and bulkhead mounted compass. 1978 Vancouver Cruiser 36′
The Robert Harris designed Vancouver 36 is a no compromise “ocean capable” cruiser perfectly suited for modern cruising couples. This vessel is designed and rigged for sailors who want to cross oceans and travel the world, or cruise the Caribbean, or just explore the Bay. Built by Durbeck in Florida, the construction is solid fiberglass (not cored) with lead ballast encased in the full keel with a large skeg hung rudder. A stout cutter rig, and a surprisingly high sail area to displacement ratio makes SV Promise a fast sailor on those long ocean passages. With head room of 6’4″, a great galley, generous berths and plenty of storage, the Vancouver 36 is a good choice for elegant and comfortable cruising. Asking $CallUs.
